Subscription, refunds, and cancellation
IDOS does not offer a free trial. The free pre-subscription setup (studio profile, optional CSV import) is not product usage — the dashboard and all tools are locked until a plan is chosen. The risk reversal is a 30-day money-back guarantee measured from the Stripe subscription start date.
30-day refund window
If you cancel within 30 days of the subscription start date, the refund is automatic and immediate. The dashboard provides a single self-serve button that refunds the most recent payment and cancels the subscription in one action. No email or support contact is required. After the refund, access to the IDOS dashboard and all firm data is revoked immediately.
Cancellation after 30 days
After the 30-day window, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The subscription is set to not renew, and paid access continues until the period end. No partial refund is issued for the remaining days. This applies to both monthly and annual billing cycles.
Exporting data before cancellation
You can export your firm’s data (structured JSON plus per-table CSV files) from the dashboard at any time before cancellation. Once access is revoked, the export path is no longer available. We recommend exporting before cancelling if you need a local copy.
Account preservation and deletion
After cancellation the account is preserved for a period to allow re-subscription (same firm, same data). If no re-subscription occurs, the account is archived and then deleted per the stated schedule. The data deletion request process is also available to firm owners at any time. See the data deletion page for the full timeline.
Renewal
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically on the same day each month. Annual subscriptions renew automatically one year from the start date. Plan changes (upgrade or downgrade) are prorated and take effect immediately. Payment method and invoice history are managed through the Stripe customer portal accessible from the dashboard.
