Current limits
IDOS is operations and procurement software for product-heavy residential interior design studios. It is not a general-purpose business platform. This page lists capabilities that IDOS does not currently offer. The list is accurate as of the last review date shown at the top of this page.
- No native mobile application. IDOS is a responsive web application that works in mobile browsers but is not distributed through app stores and does not support offline use.
- No design or rendering tools. IDOS is not CAD, Revit, SketchUp, or rendering software. It does not create floor plans, elevations, mood boards, or photorealistic renderings.
- No live accounting sync. The accounting export is a manual CSV download for Xero, QuickBooks Online, or a generic spreadsheet. There is no real-time integration, API push, or automatic reconciliation with any accounting platform.
- No customer API or webhooks. IDOS does not currently expose a public REST API, GraphQL endpoint, or webhook system for third-party integrations.
- No custom domains. Client portals, specification boards, and invoice pages are served on IDOS-app domains. A custom-domain option (e.g. portal.yourstudio.com) is not yet available.
- No AI features. IDOS does not include generative AI, automated design suggestions, product recommendations, or AI-powered communication drafting. No large language model processes your firm data.
- No advanced accounting or payroll. IDOS is not an accounting ledger, payroll system, time-clock replacement, or tax computation tool. It hands off a CSV for manual import; it does not calculate tax, run payroll, or file returns.
- No SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification. IDOS has not undergone a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit and does not publish a certification report.
- No two-factor authentication (2FA). Account security currently relies on email-and-password authentication with bcrypt hashing, without a second factor.
- No publicly available Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
- No contractual data-residency region guarantee. Data is stored on Railway infrastructure (United States); IDOS does not offer a contractual commitment to a specific geographic region for data at rest.
- No uptime SLA or service-level commitment.
- No published independent case studies, recovered-margin statistics, ROI figures, or customer outcome data specific to IDOS. Third-party industry statistics (e.g. Complete Controller’s 8–15% procurement leakage, Logistis’s 40–60% procurement share of revenue) are cited where used and do not represent IDOS customer results.
